The course for this 14th edition, which runs from the 2nd to the 13 of August 2009 is completely new. During the twelve days you will run through spectacular countryside. You will encounter cultural relics, and historic monuments. The caves of Yungang, the hanging temple of Datong, the ramparts of Pingyao, the sacred mountains of Wutaishan, the plains of loess, and the Great Wall await you.

Running along the ancient routes, being part of the team, experiencing local hospitality, discovering some of the most famous sites of Buddhist art, these are just some of the treats that make up the 14th Edition of the Foulees de la Soie - foot-race in China since 1996.

This entirely new itinerary based in Shanxi province awaits you, and will remain forever in memory.

As in previous years, this competition is open to walkers. Participation in Foulees de la Soie is not subject to any restrictions on age or athletic ability.
