Leader in this type of event, we offer the "World Challenge Trail Fire"  on the foot race "The Strides of Silk", the only adventure raid in the world that gives everyone the opportunity to go the discovery of a country, to discover a mosaic of civilizations, cultures, landscapes, historic sites the most prestigious in the world, off the beaten track.

The bimonthly magazine "Firefighters", only as an independent business dedicated to the fire and now partner SDPO, organizing a challenge dedicated to all firefighters and all areas of the fire. Around the event holder, each entity of the group can identify with his team.

Communication tool to motivate participants, stimulate or reward employees, challenges, promote the dynamic image of firefighters, sailors, firemen, fire air, whether professional volunteer or military . This extraordinary event always attracts a significant number of women (over 40%), a mixed team or a team 100% female firefighters can be found at the beginning of the next Strides Silk.

This unique event will take place from September 15 to 30, 2012, in India, as part of the legendary race "The Footsteps of Silk". Each stage of the World Challenge Trail Fire will be a support relationship with the political and economic authorities of the provinces traversed by the Footsteps of Silk.
The official ceremonies related to any stage of the race will be covered by the Indian media.


SOLDATS DU FEU magazine published a story in its columns, if one of the teams included firefighters established a professional exchange with one of the emergency center of the cities visited.

Conditions of participation:

This challenge is open:

Firefighters from around the world, active or retired
Staff working in administration, council, region or city, relevant to the fight against fire.
The administrative, technical and specialized SDIS
Security personnel assigned to civil relief missions and the fight against fire.
Company personnel relevant to the trades of fight against the fire company or service delivery.

Allocations and many lots are planned for the first 4 teams

The WCPT Challenge will be effective only if it has 7 (seven) teams entered in the official start of the race.
